Terms of Service

Effective date: 2026-02-04 • Precision Auto Detailing Canada

1. Booking

All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation. We may adjust timelines based on vehicle condition, access, and weather. Mobile appointments are offered within our service area and may require covered or powered space.

  • Appointment windows: a 30–90 minute arrival window may apply for mobile services due to traffic and weather.
  • Preparation: please remove personal items and disclose any hazards (e.g., biohazards, sharp objects) in advance.
  • Keys and access: you authorize us to move the vehicle as reasonably required to complete services safely.
  • Weather: for exterior services, heavy rain, extreme cold, or wildfire smoke may require rescheduling for safety and quality.

2. Pricing

Prices are listed in CAD and may be subject to applicable GST/HST/PST by province. Quotes are based on typical vehicle condition and may be adjusted on-site for excessive contamination or add-ons.

  • Taxes: GST/HST/PST applied according to the service location in Canada.
  • Estimates: we reserve the right to revise estimates after vehicle inspection and your approval.
  • Promotions: discounts and promotions are time-limited and cannot be combined unless explicitly stated.
  • Gift cards: non-refundable; remaining balances carry over until fully used where permitted by provincial law.

3. Liability

We operate with care and documented processes. We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, latent defects, or manufacturer failures. Photos may be taken before/after for quality control and, with your consent, marketing.

  • Pre-existing issues: we may decline service for unsafe, heavily damaged, or modified areas without proper disclosure.
  • Reasonable care: our liability is limited to the lesser of the service price or direct repair cost proven to result from our negligence.
  • Personal items: we are not responsible for valuables left in the vehicle; please remove them prior to service.
  • Coatings and corrections: outcomes depend on paint condition, hardness, and previous work; we do not guarantee 100% defect removal.

4. Cancellations

Please notify cancellations at least 24 hours prior to avoid charges. Same-day cancellations or no-shows may incur a fee up to 50% of the booked service.

  • Rescheduling: we will work to reschedule due to weather or emergencies without penalty.
  • Late arrival: arrivals 20+ minutes late may be shortened or rebooked subject to availability.
  • Deposits: deposits, where collected, are applied to your final invoice and may be forfeited on no-shows.

5. Payment

Payment is due upon completion unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept major Canadian payment methods. Invoices outstanding beyond agreed terms may accrue interest as permitted by provincial law.

  • Chargebacks: disputing a payment without contacting us first may delay resolution.
  • Third-party payers: you authorize us to communicate job details to the payer solely for billing resolution.

6. Satisfaction & Defects

Please inspect your vehicle at handover. If you identify any reasonable defects, notify us within 48 hours with photos so we can assess and remedy.

  • Remedies: reasonable rework will be scheduled; refunds are considered only if rework is not feasible.
  • Wear and tear: normal wear, stone chips, and aged clear-coat limitations are outside scope.

7. Privacy & Cookies

We collect only necessary data to deliver services, respond to inquiries, and improve quality. Cookies may be used for essential functionality and preferences. You can manage optional cookies in the banner settings.

  • Data residency: where feasible, data is processed in Canada or trusted providers compliant with Canadian privacy standards.
  • Access: you may request access or correction to your information by contacting us below.

8. Photos & Marketing

With your consent, we may use before/after photos for portfolio or social channels. License plates and personal identifiers may be obscured upon request.

9. Safety & Materials

We use professional products appropriate for automotive surfaces. You must inform us of sensitive materials or aftermarket films/coatings.

  • Hazards: vehicles with biohazards, infestations, or dangerous items may be refused or surcharged for specialized handling.
  • Electrical: access to a grounded outlet and water may be required for certain services when mobile.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the province in which the service is performed and applicable laws of Canada, without regard to conflicts of law.

Disputes

  • Resolution: parties will first attempt good-faith resolution. If unresolved, disputes may be brought in the provincial courts where service occurred.
  • Quebec consumers: mandatory provisions of Quebec consumer protection legislation apply where applicable.

11. Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond reasonable control, including severe weather, power outages, labour actions, or supply constraints.

12. Modifications

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be indicated by an updated effective date. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Accessibility

We aim to provide accessible services and communications. If you need accommodations or alternate formats, contact us and we will make reasonable efforts to assist.

14. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with your booking confirmation and any written service notes, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the services.

  • Severability: if any part is found unenforceable, the remainder stays in effect.
  • No waiver: failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of our right to do so later.
